Contractors BMS Installation opted to use Gripple QT Unigrip, Universal Bracket, QT Universal Clamp, Express, Cable Basket Clip & Cable Tray Clip.

BMS Installations chose to utilise UniGrip, Universal Clamps and Universal Brackets to suspend the combined M&E services. For hanging the ductwork, Express No.2 Hangers were used.

UniGrip has been designed to accommodate the fast suspension of a range of services. Available with a range of ‘foot’ options, BMS Installation chose to utilise the UniGrip Quarter Turn. The quarter-turn installation meant that no additional mechanical fixing was required, and the safety clip added security and ensured the fixing could not move.

Gripple Express No. 2 Hangers were used to suspend plastic ducting throughout the apartments. Tried, tested and utilised by contractors across the world, XP2 allows for easy adjustment and reduces time spent working at height.

UniGrip QT was used in conjunction with Gripple Universal Brackets, which are delivered in pre-cut lengths, meaning no cutting or filing is required on-site. Both products allowed for the brackets to be installed into a tight void, avoiding the bulkheads, with the QT Universal Clamp supporting the heating and domestic pipework. The pipe clamps replaced 13 different pipe ring sizes, with the quarter turn mechanism attaching the clamp to the bracket.

The simple height adjustment offered by Express and UniGrip were of crucial benefit for this project, as it provided BMS Installations with a flexible suspension solution which could be easily adapted to accommodate for the different flat layouts.

By utilising multiple Gripple products, this project benefitted from drastically reduced installation times, when compared to traditional methods such as rod and strut. BMS Installations received a straight forward, adjustable suspension solution, which was easily adapted to suit the different layouts throughout the building
