Only enterprising self-starting young graduates need apply to Gripple

Under its 2016 graduate scheme, Sheffield’s Gripple, one of the country’s most prominent manufacturers, is seeking young graduates who are inquisitive and capable of injecting energy and determination into its already productive sales team and keen to forge successful careers.

Ideally, graduates with business, language, technical or engineering degrees are eligible for the scheme. Time is running out for applications which should demonstrate creativity and passion for innovation. Others have included a CV in an Easter egg and a letter as a poem!

Twenty-three-year-old James Kennedy joined Gripple as a graduate trainee in 2013. By 2014 he was an area sales manager and recorded the highest sales in the area’s history.

James commented: “Gripple’s fair, transparent management is supported by a strong culture centred around people and innovation. I feel trusted, free to sell products with an established brand identity. There is also huge potential for me overseas – the world is my oyster!”

The graduates chosen to join this employee-owned company are offered a benefits package which includes intensive initial training and a competitive salary.

The successful candidates will become co-owners of the business, each joining a business owned by its employees and in November last year won the coveted EOA Employee Owned Business of the Year Award. As small stakeholders in the business they are entitled to challenge, offer ideas, take initiatives and contribute to positive change.

Applications and CV should be directed to Deborah King at jobs@gripple.com.

Deborah said: “Gripple makes ingenious products so we want we want to see ingenious applications – so surprise us! We are offering exciting careers, so why not add your footprint to the Gripple ‘spirit’ if you can challenge convention and drive through innovation.”
