University of Minnesota Ambulatory Care Center – Minneapolis

 The University of Minnesota Ambulatory Care Center, located  in Minneapolis, is a state-of-the-art 6-story, 332,240 GSF (gross square foot) facility, housing outpatient clinics, a cancer treatment center, and an outpatient surgery center. Gripple products were used on this site to suspend rectangular duct, insulated rectangular duct, spiral duct, insulated spiral duct, and cable basket, and include the Duct Trapeze Hanger, Standard Hanger, and Metal Deck Insert. With safe working loads up to 800 lbs, it was easy to determine a Gripple hanger for every application. Dewey Laudenbach, Foreman with Metropolitan Mechanical Contractors, has used Gripple or several years and views it as a labor-saving product out in the field, and for that reason he continues to use it versus traditional methods. He praises being able to order Gripple hangers to specific lengths for specific applications, eliminating the need to transport or cut rod & strut, and that saves them a huge amount of time.
