Side-Loaded Support System for Heavy-Duty Applications

SidePro has been developed as a fast and secure, side-loaded method of installing cable trays which will become subject to high loads following installation.

Suitable for use on projects such as data centres and warehouses, where high-load cables are likely to be needed, SidePro is designed to quicken installations whilst offering the highest level of performance of any cantilever product on the market.

The product’s push-button installation method ensures that no tools are needed for installation, whilst its simplicity means that only minimal training is needed before a confident installation can take place. Step 1. Mark out the pendant drill locations using the cutter guide. Drill the fixing holes to the required depth/diameter and anchor the pendant into place (using a square washer if necessary).
Step 2. Support the bracket’s weight and push the cartridge’s button to retract the fixing pins.
Step 3. Locate the bracket to the right height on the pendant and release the cartridge’s button to release the pins, locking the bracket into place. Ensure that the ‘locked line’ is visible. Use the button to adjust the height as necessary.
Step 4. Repeat the first and second steps to add additional brackets as necessary.

Frequently Asked Question’s

The product has been developed to remove the risk of any user error and improve the simplicity of the installation process through features and benefits provided.

The product has been extensively mechanically tested and meets all of the requirements for BS EN 61537:2007.

The product has been fire tested to meet the EU standard DIN-4102-12.

After conducting an assessment process called the “LMM-HHT” for assessing the risks which are posed by lifting certain weights, we fall into the very lower end of the moderate risk category, with the only recommended action being “For people with reduced resilience, design measures and other preventative measures are useful”.

The product’s welding is completed by an automated welder and meets the necessary ISO welding standards. The product meets all necessary load requirements which are outlined in BS EN 61537:2007 and DIN-4102-12.

The product has been laser cut and welded prior to the plating process. This means that the product will be fully plated, including all small components, laser cut areas and welded areas.
