Opening in 2017, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be home to the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, the Atlanta United FC of Major League Soccer and many other events. This 1.4 billion dollar stadium will have a top capacity of 83,000 attendees and features an eight panel retractable roof to allow fresh air.

Within the stadium Gripple No.3 Trapeze Hangers are being used to suspend all spiral ductwork using 1/4” studs on strut and belly bands. 16 – 36 inch duct is being suspended using Gripple No.3 Standard Hangers. Large, 106 inch double wall ductwork is being suspended utilizing Gripple No.5 Standard Hangers. The No.5 Standard Hanger has a Safe Working Load of 715 lbs and a 5:1 safety factor per hanger.
