Step 1. Attach the Spider Wood Form to the wood form using nails. You can use Spider Installation Tool to position and secure.
Step 2. Pour concrete and cure it until it achieves required minimum compressive strength as specified in this technical data pack.
Step 3. Remove wood form.
Step 4. Spider Wood Form will be ready for further installation of Cable Push-In Toggle or Rod Push-In Toggle.
Step 5. Use hammer to knock off protruding nails.

Yes. Screwed-in toggles are installed below deck quickly, dramatically reducing below-deck labor and assembly time.

Only Gripple’s own Swivel Cable Toggles, Threaded Rod Adapters, or Seismic Push-In Adapters are certified for use with the insert. Use with third-party products voids warranty.

Do not load the insert until the concrete has fully cured to its specified compressive strength.

Minimum concrete thickness and slab geometry must meet specifications based on ACI‑318 guidelines — for example, at least 4 in thicker slabs with proper edge distance and reinforcement. Separate guidelines apply for metal deck and wood form.
