The role:

Working with the Gripple key account and specification team, reporting to the national key account and specification director, this is an account focussed and project-led position, focusing on major construction projects in Greater London and surrounding region.  This is both a technical and commercial role with the target of having Gripple solutions specified, working cradle to grave on construction projects, and selling our portfolio of building services products. 

The southern region is one of the fastest growing areas for Gripple, and we will offer you the training and support to successfully drive your sales contribution.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of existing main and tier-1 MEP contractor key accounts and projects
  • Strong emphasis on new business development, identifying and targeting new customer accounts and projecting supply opportunities in the building services sector
  • Forging relationships with decision makers at all levels
  • Delivering targeted CPDs to both engineers, main contractors and MEP sub-contractors
  • Working with solutions that have both technical and commercial benefits to the industry
  • Helping to drive project sales back to local area sales managers (ASMs)
  • Generating a pipeline of projects to support regional and national sales targets

Who you are:

To be considered for the position, you need to:

  • Experience of selling products into the construction industry
  • Existing contacts within MEP consultants, main contractors and tier-1 MEP contractors operating in the Greater London region.
  • Be technically competent with the ability and willingness to learn
  • Possess the ability to influence and persuade specifiers and decision makers to adopt innovative new products
  • Work well both as part of a team and as an individual, using your own initiative
  • Possess the drive, enthusiasm and work ethic to be able to turn an objective into tangible results
  • Be based within reasonable commutable distance from London (30/45mins).
  • A full UK driving licence
