Recently, Mesa Vineyard Management installed 11,000 Gripple GPAK3 brace kits (7 feet in length) on 2 7/8” oil pipe end posts, for the purpose of bracing a large scale vineyard’s trellising systems. With cut-to-length cable, looped cinch knot brace assemblies, and Gripple joiners, the speed and ease of installation was increased dramatically. Compared to traditional tie-back methods of cutting, tensioning, and crimping, the overall efficiencies realized by using Gripple were upwards of 5 times as fast.
