What types of acoustic panels are your suspension kits compatible with?

Our Gripple acoustic suspension kits are compatible with a wide range of panel types, including PET acoustic baffles, foam panels, metal rafts, wood slats, and fabric-wrapped ceiling clouds. We offer multiple attachment options to suit different panel materials and configurations, whether you’re suspending vertically or horizontally.

What is the maximum weight load per suspension point?

Our products are tested to strict load ratings:

HangPro Hanger: up to 120 lbs Max Safe Working Load
Angel Hangers: up to 33 lbs Max Safe Working Load

All the above working loads are tested with a 5:1 safety factor

Are the kits height adjustable on-site?

Yes, all our kits are fully adjustable on-site prior to final install, making installing to the correct height easy and flexible.

Can your kits be fixed to all common ceiling types?

Yes, we provide a wide range of attachments to structure to allow you to suspend from a range of ceiling types and suspension points, as well as the option of our Gripple Catenary Kit which allows for vertical suspension sites with limited attachment points.

Are Gripple kits discrete and aesthetically pleasing?

Our lightweight cable-based kits and hangers offer a discreet, architectural finish perfect for retail or office environments where aesthetics are important.

Do you offer pre-cut kits or bulk reels and components?

Our suspension kits are comprised of ready to install pre-cut, crimped and fused cable, along with your choice of attachment to structure and hanger. Kits come in a range of standard lengths or custom lengths where required.

Is there technical or installation support available on-site or remotely?

As a Gripple customer you get access to our in-house technical support team who can provide both remote engineering support including suspension layout design, load calculations, and product selection, as well as on site installation and training support where needed.
