Proving we’re the hallmark of excellence once again.

Each year, the Institute of Mechanical Engineers hold the Manufacturing Excellence Awards – the UK’s premier awards for business and industry. Dubbed ‘the Oscars of the Manufacturing World’, they exist to recognise and reward company attributes that enhance the manufacturing environment, so we were positively delighted to win two awards on the evening – one for Best Partnership between Business and Education, and the other for Best Small to Medium Enterprise.

The ceremony was held at the Dorchester Hotel on London’s Park Lane, with over twenty companies from around the country in attendance. To be shortlisted as a finalist is an achievement in itself, so to win Best SME was nothing short of a triumph – and it’s all thanks to our commitment to continuous improvement, people effectiveness and innovative market expansion.

Five years ago, when we were last a contender in the MX Awards, some of the final judges said that they wished they worked for Gripple – a sentiment that was repeated at the end of MX 2009. “This is a wonderful accolade for Gripple.” said Managing Director Mark Edmonds. “It’s just reward for all the hard work that has been put in by so many people right across the business.”
