Protection Systems

Fruit Netting

Every fruit farmer’s greatest fear is losing an entire crop to the perils of the natural world. A secure system needs to be in place to fend off birds and insects from your cherries, or to keep your pears and pomegranates guarded against adverse weather conditions. Thankfully, Gripple doesn’t only support your trellises, but upholds your defences too.

The Gripple Plus range shows its versatility once again by providing an efficient yet simple means of securing your netting throughout your orchard. For taller trellises, the stronger and more robust Gripple Lockables aid the dynamics of the entire trellis structure; they’re more secure against powerful winds and motion caused by hail storms, creating greater overall stability as well as shielding. The Fenox Anchor makes light work of the installation, and the Fenox anchor completes the system.

Shade Screens

Safeguarding against the elements is not just limited to orchards; shade screens are often used for shelter from the heat, especially in parts of the world where the sun can be unforgiving. The Lockable Gripple, in conjunction with the The Torq Tensioning Tool, makes the task of mounting screens no more laborious than it needs to be. We help people keep well protected at all times, offering the perfect solution for playgrounds, swimming pools, car-parks and driveways.

Aside from sun protection, Gripples can be used architecturally, both indoor and out – the Gripple Hanger Range can suspend everything from bedroom screens to exhibition stands. They are especially useful in the retail sector, where they can be used to hold up exterior banners and marquees, as well as for signage and displays inside the store. Additionally, our products are also used in greenhouses and polytunnels, suspending thermal screens to manage temperature.
