Will the wire rope damage spiral ducting?
Typically, a Gripple hanger is wrapped directly around the spiral duct. This technique means that the rope is in contact with at least 50% of the circumference of the duct. The load is, therefore evenly spread producing insufficient direct pressure to harm the duct.
