Capabilities

At any given time we are managing a wide variety of projects; some are triggered by clearly defined product aims, others are initiated by an original vision that results in a new product line, and then there are some that simply involve months of research to better understand a new market or customer base. Behind every project is a team of talented people with diverse backgrounds and experience, all of whom are adept at solving problems and bringing unique, innovative products into existence.

One of the primary aims common to all our projects is to help the customer achieve increased productivity through intelligent design. We spend a lot of our time out in the field researching customer needs and requirements to ensure that everything we develop makes the way they work easier, quicker and safer. Many of our most successful and enjoyable projects have been conducted in close collaboration with our customers, allowing us to deliver innovative products that are specifically designed to provide them with a bespoke solution.

For every product there is a large collection of prototypes that help us rigorously test each idea during its development. These can range from spontaneous models assembled during a meeting with a client, through to complex one-offs used in ‘proof of principle’ tests, created using the latest rapid prototyping and metal forming technologies. Our fully equipped workshop allows us to build the majority of our early prototypes on-site, making for an exceptionally swift turn-around of ideas.

To enable us to streamline our work with our toolmakers and suppliers, we develop ideas in tandem with the physical experiments using sophisticated computer aided design software. We also use advanced FEA and structural analysis, which enables us to further optimise the performance of our products.
