Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Due to the appointment of Dave Palfreman to the Engineering Development team, Gripple are looking to recruit an experienced MULTI SKLLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER.
Based at the Head Office on Savile St East , Sheffield, the main tasks will be the maintenance, & repair of the PLC controlled Gripple wire and component assembly machines.
You will need to be an apprentice trained mechanical or electrical engineer, but capable of undertaking repairs and maintenance in either discipline and any experience of or knowledge of PLCs and robotics would be extremely useful. You will have experience of working with light engineering/automated assembly equipment.
Some development engineering work may be available to an appropriately qualified candidate.
The position will be working on regular mornings and afternoons Monday to Friday, with night shifts and weekend work required to meet the demands of the business, therefore a flexible attitude is paramount.
